Tobiano (aka Tobi) is an ancient member of the re'shahna tribe that still dwells within the ruins of Bresan T'ahnya. In his early years, he made a name for himself as a warrior with exceptional prowess, but that wasn't what impressed his leader, Patchi. It was his empathy, charisma, and insatiable curiosity. Tobi isn't just adored by their people; he is beloved—and that makes him remarkably influential.

Those qualities convinced Patchi to conduct a ritual that blessed Tobi with immortality. He spent the dawn of his ageless era becoming a master of many things, including martial arts, magic, and history. Although he never hung up his sword and bow, Tobi found himself evolving from a warrior to a teacher.

He later becomes a mentor to Jaycent and Levee when Patchi sends them his way to hone their magical talents and find a legendary weapon. However, Tobi never expected to grow so fond of these two pupils—or to become intrinsically entwined in their predicament.

He develops a brotherly affection for Jaycent, remaining by his side in the years to come as they struggle to find some way to defeat an enemy that is unrivaled in both power and madness.
